great day guys, every now and then something incredible happens. as you know, i was friends with Jimmy Greenspoon (keyboardist for 3 Dog Night). i recently was in Maryland and spent some time with Susie Greenspoon, Jimmy's widow. i brought the CD of ELI wiith me. i asked her if she wanted to hear Western New Yorks tribute to Three Dog Night. well, we listened to the whole CD. when it was over, she said to tell you guys:" TWO THUMBS UP!!". there were moments when she was close to tears. all i can say is that all of you are amazing talents. thank you for putting ELI together. Mark, Looking forward to this week’s event, watching weather forecast as if it makes a difference. Last week the Village of Williamsville had a working session which the Boys attended. There were two concerns discussed, one related to the Beer tent. It had to do with the music volume. The Village board members and neighbors to the island were present. We agreed to tone down the music a bit and consider even more so around 10:00 – 10:30. I do not know exactly what this means, but I will discuss with you and your sound folks. Hopefully we can find a sweet spot of rocking the island while not causing an issue for the town. Thanks, talk with you soon

My favorite memory of HIT N RUN is when the band played at the former macaroons bar for the Sabres Hottest Fan contest sponsored by 97 rock. Yes I was runner up but my family and friends were there and the band played an exciting show. My dad was brought up on stage for a Neil diamond song. He has never attended any of your shows (before that) but still speaks highly of that moment. He's 75. Also the continuous fun I have whenever I see HIT N RUN play makes me feel the upmost happiest no matter what kind of day I had. Hi mark, We are looking forward to having you out to the Bills Stadium again to perform! I will also confirm with Indigo and our house electrician that all your technical needs are met. Also new since last time (you played for the Bills), we have a green room in our Stadium Tunnel, that we will have for you to keep your things (coats, purses, etc.) safe during the performance, and for your breaks. It is pretty close to where the stage will be set up, and we will have security lock it up when you’re on stage. I’ll be back to you soon with a signed agreement, and will get parking passes/info over to you when we’re a little closer. Thanks again!

The cable TV station just called me about us doing a battle of the bands for a TV show on Cable called Bragging Rights. It is like a cross between Family Feud and Trivia. It should be a lot of fun. I would like to know if HitnRun would consider playing for an event that Cobham has for our employees around 250 people at the Dock at the Bay on Saturday, May 16 from 5-10 pm. We are trying to do something different and have a draft weekend party for season ticket holders and VIPs. It will be a fanfest on the stadium field. Hit n Run will play from 12-4 but take a few breaks for when our pics come up. It is rounds 4-7 so it will be crazy. We hope you can play it.

Hi Mark The other race is scheduled for Sunday August 9th. It is a 15K (9.3 miles) starting at around 8:00AM The name of the event is RUN716. We would expect the party to run from approx. 10 or 11 to around 1:00PM We are still working on a number of details including the final commitment for funding we have been promised and will be in touch asap. The start, finish and after race party will be at Flying Bisons Beer new location in Larkinville. Mark, regarding power situation, the stage is connected to a 220 panel which is located directly behind where the stage is set up for you. All power runs through the stage. We have an electrician at the event to help out. The stage is available for set up anytime in the afternoon. Regarding playing times, the race starts at 7:00PM. We ask that the band start between 7:15PM and 7:30PM. There is a built in break around 8:00PM or 8:15PM and lasts about 45 minutes. We announce the race winners. You can then start back up around 8:45PM or 9:00PM and play just until 11:00PM. Call or text or email any questions.

I believe it is the Orchard Room 250-300 but if we are able to secure the date with your band I am looking for our best attendance to date! Our dept has gone with a DJ in the past few years and (the event) has gotten stale. Your band is exactly what we are looking for to bring this banquet to a new level. Hey there...Your (Webcast/radio) interview is this Saturday @ 1:00...make sure you bring your music on disc...it should be 2-3 songs minimum...it must be something we can keep so we can put you in rotation...it doesn't have to be a studio recording, but it should be something you can be proud of...if you would like to play a couple songs during the interview, bring your instrument...most people go acoustic, you can bring your family or friends, but room is limited...it will be a laid back atmosphere, so see you then!

Dan Kaplin what can I say, I have viewed you as a father views his son, but better. Thanks for your equally warped sense of humor. Mark Valentino has (as a fellow photographer says) “Stage Presence” and has allowed me to refine my craft and stalk the band at the same time. He believed in me right from the start from that simple assignment I had from Buffalo.com right on through to the end. Through his belief I have been involved in many other local bands and musicians. ELI my most beloved band (Three Dog Night Tribute) was a dream never possible imagined by me to work with. I got to see and photograph: The Fabulous Thunderbirds, The Guess Who, Better than Ezra, The Road and Talas. All because of photography. It was a great ride and with no regrets’. I am Planning One Last Live shoot at the Cove (Got to close this out with Dave Terry lighting) in December with the band that started me on this journey…HitnRun. This will be the O.L.S. (Official Last Shoot). I can’t think of a better way to close this out than to go Full Circle with HnR. Peace!

Mark, Our crowds have been great. We had a show a few weeks ago with 600-700. Our room is 95x90. With the stage we can fit 800-1000 with the bar and upstairs. Our stage is 24 wide by 18 deep. Hi Mark, Yes, you would have access to load prior to the event. I will be there by 3:00 pm that afternoon, so whatever time you need we would be able to accommodate. The area that you will be playing in will be the grand ballroom area on the first floor. A lot of our guests enjoy music and dancing. We have not had a live band before, so we are very excited. We will have food stations and bars set up throughout the entire event area (the entire lower level is being reserved for this event) There will be other entertainment activities outside of this room, i.e. photo booth, possibly a casino area, arcade games, etc. And yes, I am related to Patrick Kaleta. I truly want to see you succeed and grow further in terms of popularity. In saying this, I truly feel that you should go back to playing more of the set list that you had in 2011-2012. That is what you are known for and what defines Hit-N-Run There is a reason that people have come to see Hit-N-Run and a reason why you have remained popular and have built a following that no other cover band can touch, that is due to the songs you played. While it is important to stay current, it is important to remember and embrace what made you popular to begin with, providing a fun show and embracing a set list that cannot be challenged. This is simply advice from someone who has seen you play hundreds of times and wants to enjoy seeing you play for that many more. Hey Mark, just checking in one more time. So after much deliberation and back and forth we decided to book a condo affiliated with the inn at holiday valley. It's less than a mile from the brewery so great location for Saturday. We crunched the numbers and it ended up being close to a wash when you throw in the cost of hotels and transportation down to elliotcottville. Driving up for the game Sunday morning with a hangover will kind of suck but been there done that many times. Anyway, looking forward to seeing you guys in the 11th. It's coming pretty quick.

I was out to both nights at Clarence center. Know how I judge how your crowd was on Saturday was compared to the crowd on Sunday with another group? I have to walk a circle around and push through to get to buy a beer when you were there. On the other night, there was no line or people in the way. I just walked right up to the bar without obstruction. You know how to bring them in and keep them there.

The concert on the canal in NT was just amazing. That was by far the largest crowd all year. That was the 4th year in a row I have seen you there. It was great that you had nice weather that day after the last 2 years raining there. We had the boat out and our friends loved the band.

Great job at the canal on Wed. Last year we raised $600 in tips that we donated to charity. This year we raised $750 JUST IN TIPS. This money goes to kids Christmas gifts that cant afford them. Your band brings in a great crowd and we want to thank you for the plug.

Hi. I just wanted to say thank you for providing such great entertainment. I was at the show at Queen of Heaven and to my disbelief the band played for over 5 straight hours with no break. I was blown away! I looked around under the giant tent and nobody seemed to want to leave. Thank you again and I hope that each band member had as great a time as I did.
