I had such a ball sitting in for the great (vacationing!) Annette Falasa with Hit N Run last weekend at the Erie County Fair. Thank you for playing making my daughter’s day and for playing Living on a prayer for my little 7 year old. We grew up in Buffalo and now live out of state. While home and driving, we listen to your CD and it was the first time she got to see Hit n Run live. She wanted to hear that Bon Jovi song so bad because it is her favorite and I told her you play it well. She was so disappointed when you did not play it the day before, she was heartbroken. Thanks for understanding and playing it the following night for her. It made her night. We will probably see you in the fall or next year when my husband and I and our daughter make our way back to see family in Buffalo.

I play for a few local bands. We have a Bon Jovi tribute medly in one band, so far no idiots booing. As musicians and entertainers, we bust our butts every week and all we really want is a receptive crowd. You guys know this more than anyone. You probably play more (large shows) than ANY local band. I learned that you will never completely please everyone (all the time) at a show, especially a drunken beer tent. I’m just trying to stick up for us hard working local musicians. Sick of ignorant people. Keep Rockin!

As you may know we are a non-profit, private high-school so we are constantly planning fundraisers for the Academy and the girls. Hi guys, I am a volunteer for Buffalo Porchfest, an event scheduled for May 17 in the Elmwood Village. Basically, Porchfest consists of local bands and musicians playing on neighborhood porches for anyone who wants to come by and watch. Yes a large task, but attainable in the next 10 years! Thus the reason for the annual Gala. What do you think, can you guys be our entertainment? We also have a budget so what would it cost? Hi Mark, Restaurants will be open until 9pm. That's the same as every other year. We're still working on the exact hours on Saturday. The city is mtg next week and will let us know if we can play until 11. We don't anticipate push back, but if so we'll have to finish at 9 and will adjust the band schedule. Hope that helps. Mark, I mentioned to you a while ago about a possible donation to a local charity. The money was raised at the Wednesday Night Gateway Harbor Hit-N-Run Concert (Tonawanda Canal - August 28th). My uncle, Ken Kopra, on behalf of the Knights of Columbus (Twin City Council) was responsible for collecting the tips from the beverage sales and picking the charities to which they were distributed. We thought that the Rockin with Santa event would be a good spot for the money raised, $600, from the Hit-N-Run concert. The helps buy/distribute Christmas presents to needy kids in the Tonawanda area. If you wouldn’t mind, on behalf of Hit-N-Run, mention the donation on the band’s website. Let me know what you think. Hi, I'm Pam, an employee of a non-profit senior care campus in Clarence. We have hosted an outdoor summer concert series for a number of years and they have grown in popularity and attendance. Next summer (summer 2014) we hope to expand from two or three concerts to six. After asking many people about the best band in WNY, Hit and Run was mentioned several times. Could you please reply to this email and let me know: How much would you charge for this type of evening event? We are a non-profit organization so our pockets are not very deep. We have had helpful sponsors in the past and hope to expand that in 2014, but need to have an idea of how much we would need to raise. The concert series is offered as a service to our community; no admission fee is charged. If weather or other incident prevents us from hosting the outdoor concert, it is very difficult for us to reschedule for another evening. Is this a consideration for you? Mark, My efforts to book a Party where you are playing has not been good. We had enquired at Yellow Jaguar only to be told they basically did not need the extra business (when you are there). I spoke with Dean at Tony Romes who said he was going to talk to his brother. I do not think these places realize it is financially beneficial to have a party preceding the band. I bring a crowd in earlier than they normally would. Plus attendees are also followers of the band. My people want live music. Thanx again

Hello, I am the advisor for the Cancer student organization that supports the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life. We are interested in doing a large fundraiser in mid-July. Basically the program would entail an inflatable obstacle course for kids of all ages, a couple bands, food and of course fundraising. Hello. I came out to see you guys for the first time in a long time at resurrection carnival. My friends and I were right up front. Your guitarist with the curly hair dedicated a song at the end of the night to me, but due to an illness I suffer from I had to leave after. I had so much fun. I finally felt alive for the first time since my last three surgeries in the past 8 months and cancer of the blood.. A friend of ours owns Brauns concert cove and my friends were wondering what you would charge for 2 hours to perform a benefit. We were going to look into Macaroons too.

Mark, I just wanted to let you know that every "once and a while" my husband and I get out for some fun. We always try to track down your band. Last Saturday we went up to West Seneca (Community Days) and couldnt believe that it was possible for your band to get better. You sounded better than ever and it was outside! It is also very enjoyable to watch you and your band mates enjoy each other. You have an amazing smile and it was fun to watch your face when you saw somebody you were "especially" happy to see (knowing that you are the type of person that is happy to see everyone). It was extremely warm and the band played on for hours. It was so nice to see the band again and my husband and I promised each other to get out more to enjoy the show! We are looking for a band to perform at our Firehall Installation banquet at Samuels in 2014. We have several bands we are looking for and trying to get budgets done. I have heard your band several time and think you will be great for it. Last year we had another band and they were good but did not appeal to a wide audience the way that I think Hit and Run will.

I've been spending a lot of time out there doing a landscaping job for a buddy right down on the hollow behind the Asa Ransom house. Still pulling crowds I see. Good to hear. Mark, Just spoke to the organizers of the eastern hills beer tent, they are meeting this weekend and will have final confirmation by Monday or before re: the September date. Their plans are to have a 3 day event with your band head lining on Friday with 1 additional band opening up, Please let me know this is something you want to do. Is the price the same as the woodlawn event that unfortunately did not pan out? I need to hear from you on this to know how to proceed with this and the yellow jaguar date that you are also listed for. Thanks again
